Go West Film Fest

A the beginning of 2024, our tenth anniversary got off to a dandy of a start! In its "Best of" issue, True West magazine named Go West their Readers’ Choice for best western film festival in the US! We intend to live up to those expectations with a spur-jingling roundup of classic and contemporary movies and guest celebrities. Click the link below for an overview of our exciting lineup. The complete program, including photos, film synopses, guest profiles and more is coming soon. Once again, we offer both "high noon" and evening events. Please note the evening start time of 6:30 p.m. Seat reservations at the Kress Cinema and Lounge will be available online in advance of the screenings. Help celebrate our birthday by joining us for recent movie perspectives of the West, as well as a sampling of films shown during our first decade. Whether we reminisce about timeless classic westerns or view them for the first time, westerns always set the screen ablaze! As always, audience members are invited to linger after every presentation for a moderated conversation about the film. Also as always, there is no admission charge to movies and events! Festival venues for 2024 are the Kress Cinema and Lounge, the new Library Innovation Center (LINC) in downtown Greeley, and Lindou Auditorium in Michener Library, on the campus of the University of Northern Colorado.
